PILLAR OF FIRE TIME NO MORE PILLAR OF FIRE

It's veiled not to the believer, but to the unbeliever;

he cannot see it.

God always

veils

Himself from the unbeliever.

Traditions hide it.

This last Sunday, at the Tabernacle, I preached on

"The Unveiled God."

God has always veiled Himself behind something,

so that the people of the outside world would know nothing about Him.

But He reveals Hisself

to His children

and

to those who are willing to come in behind that veil.

It's veiled not to the believer,

but to the unbeliever;

he cannot see it.

And notice.

To whom He will reveal It...

And He so designed that He could hide Himself in the Scriptures to the smartest theologian there is. Oh, my. He can just hide Himself, set right there in the Scripture, and you look all day long and never see it,

look a lifetime and never see it.

He can just hide Himself setting there.

Now, please,

everywhere,

let that soak in, that God in the Word can hide Himself so in the Word, that there isn't a theologian or a school in the world could ever find Him.

MATTHEW 15:1-6

1 ¶ Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to [his] father or [his] mother, [It is] a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

6 And honour not his father or his mother, [he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

You're accursed with a curse.

All you churches,

denominations

that's holding to the tradition of man

instead of the Word of God,

you're cursed by God.

The Pharisees couldn't see because of their tradition.

They couldn't see because their traditions;

But

the prostitute, the farmers, and all them, they saw it.

All that was predestinated,

when the doubts rolled away,

the seed went to growing.

Remember,

it'll be so humble and things till the churches will miss it a long ways.

And could you imagine the churches,

still under the tradition

of the reformers,

would ever receive a prophet from God who would be firmly against their teachings and organizations?

You can't take a church and bring it to life on some tradition.

See, it was against their tradition. See?

If they would've only looked into the Word of God,

instead of their-

-of their tradition of that day,

they would've knowed He was the Son of God.

Because the Bible plainly declared

His full coming,

and

He come in full revelation of the Word.

And each generation reveals Him in the

full revelation

that's lotted for that time.

We’re living in the last day,

the generation

that would see Jesus Christ return to the earth.

And I say to you tonight again, this day this Scripture is fulfilled in your sight.

They said,

"We're Moses' disciples."

He said,

"If you was Moses' disciples, you'd know Me, for Moses wrote of Me:

'The Lord, your God, shall raise up a prophet liken unto me.'"

They claimed to be,

but they wasn't because that they was so

steeped in tradition.

Now,

that's how they missed seeing Him in that day that they lived in.

Now,

that could repeat, you know. It always has.

And it could repeat again.

Now, He come just exactly the way the prophet said He would come.

But you see,

they had a tradition.

And they couldn't see that

And that's the reason they failed to receive Jesus when He first come upon the earth, is because they

were living under a tradition

They said they believed the prophets.

And here was the Word in Fullness,

and still they didn't believe it because they had their creed and

their tradition.

And today the

veil of tradition

hides the Word again, saying, "It's not so." But It is so.

We see the things that He prophesied to us here

through His prophet John on the Isle of Patmos;

we see it fulfilled to the letter.

We see the Holy Ghost made manifest among us here on earth.

We see the denominations put Him out of the church,

the Word.

They got nothing against the people;

it's that Word that they hate;

It's against their tradition.

He was to them in their camp,

a fanatic,

a breaker of their tradition,

a upsetter of their churches,

really just a fortuneteller,

a spirit that's called Beelzebub.

That's what He was.

And I believe if He come among us today,

He'd be the same thing to us,

for we have traditions,

we have denominations.

Now, think of it.

Think of it.

They claimed that they believe that Word.

But their traditions had turned their faces from the true Word to a glare;

therefore,

they couldn't see the real thing.

So is it today. So has it been in every age. See, the--the true Word shines, but they have been so

traditionalized

that they can't see that Word

IS WRITTEN:

When any man turns from the Word of God and joins a church instead of receiving the Holy Spirit, that man dies.

Dead!

That is what he is.

Don't join a church.

Don't get into organization and get taken up with creeds

And

tradition

or anything that takes the place of the Word and the Spirit or you're dead.

It's all over.

You're dead.

Eternally separated from God!

Signs are appearing everywhere just before the coming of the Lord.

Every sign post is pointing that way.

It won't be long till the rapture.

Can we realize that?

Can we actually believe that?

Is it a story that's been told?

Is it a myth to us?

Is it a something that sounds real?

Now,

it's the seventh church age that takes the rapture.

we're living in another age.

We're living on up here to the Bride age,

the calling out of the church and getting it together for

the rapture.

That's the age that we're now living.

Everybody's accepting, saying,

"Oh, one of these days Jesus will walk out on the skies, and say,

'Come on, all you Pentecostals, or you Baptists,'"

our traditional thoughts of it.

But that's where I pattern the resurrection and-

-or the rapture.

It'll go and they'll...

I know that sounds strange,

but maybe you'll know a little more after tonight,

if the Lord willing,

just how it's going to be.

It'll be so secret nobody will know about it,

hardly.

The world will just think--just go right on like it always did.

See?

That's the way He always does it.

That may be true, but not open the way you say open.

because He said He'd come like a thief in the night.

Wherever the Word is, It's veiled.

The Lord Jesus will be coming one of these days.

And, you know, it-

-I think it'll be so sudden and so--so sweet,

until there'll be one hundred per--one hundredth of one hundred percent of the whole world

will never know when that rapture takes place.

It'll just go so quietly

that nobody would know nothing about it.

how do you know

the rapture's not going on all the time?

the sun can draw more water in fifteen minutes,

without any noise at all,

And we make more noise drawing a gallon of water

than the sun does a million barrels.

That's right.

We're always looking for something that's got big

"hurrah,"

a lot of racket to it.

“And water symbolizes "people."

And

"waters" means "the people."

Why, get the 15th chapter, you can see here; it's just the 15th verse. See?

And he said unto me. The waters which thou sawest, where the whore setteth, are people,... multitudes,... nations, and tongues. (See, see?)

The church has not recognized her day, like Israel back in her promised land. She don't know how she got back there. She was just automatically put back there.

Why?

National force put her in her place.

Now,

I'm going to say something.

National force put Israel in her homeland.

National force will put the church

in the World Council of Churches.

But the power of God will put the people in the Bride.

The world forces this way, and the world forces that way,

but

God forces upward.

She’s taken up;

in that mystery of the Seventh Seal.

He has to be put out of the church.

There's no way at all for it to keep from being this way.

God said it would be this way. But if it... Let it shake you.

Let it shake you good.

No matter what nation you're in, wherever you're at, whoever you are, let it wake you up. Hours come and go. The first thing you know, you'll be saying, "Well, I-

-I thought there was supposed to be this happen before the rapture."

You'd be all anchored off in a church somewhere, saying,

"I'm just as secure as I can be,"

and the first thing you know the rapture will be gone.

It's going to be a secret, sudden going, nobody know nothing about it.

The world will keep right on going, like Noah went into the ark.

You remember after Noah went into the ark, he set there seven days after God closed the door. God closed the door and Noah set in the ark for seven days before anything happened.

And the door of mercy will be closed in your face, and might already be.

And just think of it;

the people'll go ahead preaching, people'll think they're getting saved,

putting their names on books,

joining church, shouting, jumping up and down.

And they loved their traditions more than they loved the vindicated Word of God.

Now, could you imagine when this person comes on the scene-

And could you imagine the churches,

would ever receive a prophet from God who would be firmly against their teachings and organizations?

Now, there's only one person could fulfill that,

only one spirit's ever been on earth that I know; it would either be...

It would have to be Elijah in his time.

And it was predicted that it would be,

which is nothing but the Spirit of Christ.

they studied that Word day and night,

But when the Word was vindicated,

they didn't know It.

The church knows it the world around.

We firmly know it, for He's never told us one thing as

Did He not say down there on the river,
